Some of the teams are self-explanatory.  You may join these “teams” at any time.  Just talk to one of the pastors or call the church.  This list expands every year.

Adult SMSG Leaders – Commonly called Sunday school teachers, these are the leaders of the Small Groups on Sunday morning

B

Budget and Finance Team – deals with the church’s finances

Building and Ground Team – This team takes care of, well, the building and the surrounding ground

C

Children’s Event Planning team

Community Concerns Team – prays and deals with concerns involving Jacksonville and the surrounding area

Community Outreach Team – sharing the joy of Jesus throughout Jacksonville

Childrens Music - Group of kids and adult leaders that organizes anything that deals with kids and music, such as childrens choir.

Children SMSG Leaders – Like adult SMSG leaders, only with children

Counting Committee – This team counts service attendance and offering every Sunday morning.

Deaf Ministry – provides interpretation during the Sunday morning service.

Decision Time Counseling – Decision Time is the time in which the decision to become a  Christian is made.  These counselors help people make the decisions they need to make and provide help and knowledge through the spiritual journey.

Drama and Set Design Team – This team builds sets for plays and musicals.

Decorating Team - decorates the church for things such as Christmas and VBS

Disaster Relief Team – This team helps provide comfort and rebuilding to those affected by disasters in the Jacksonville area or around the US

Extended Care Team – takes care of the children ages birth – Kindergarten during the Sunday Morning service.

Fall Carnival Team – The Fall Carnival is one of the largest outreach events of the year.  People in this ministry design, help build, and run the games and booths during the carnival.

Greeters Team – This jolly group of folks greet you at the door with a warm smile and hello

Girls in Action – This group meets on Wednesday nights at 6:00 and learns about missions around the world.  For ages K-6

Kitchen Krew - helps keep the kitchen squeaky clean and (sometimes) helps cook for special events.

Nursing Home Ministry – goes and visits people in nursing homes who may not have many visitors

Royal Ambassadors – This group of boys grades K-6 meets at 6:00 on Wednesday nights and discusses and learns about missions all over the world

Ushers – Do thing such as collect offering plates and counts attendance and offerings.

VBS Team - VBS is the biggest outreach event of the year.  These people teach classes, lead classes such as recreation and art, and much more
