The Bible tells us that Jesus is God incarnate; He is God the Son, eternally one with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He alone can forgive our sins and give salvation.

The writer of Hebrews explains how “In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven” (Hebrews 1:1-3).

Many people believe that Jesus lived, was a good teacher and a very spiritual man, but they deny that he is God. A diluted Jesus is not the real Jesus. We must be careful to believe in the Jesus that he himself declared he was, “not be[ing] led astray from [our] sincere and pure devotion to Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3)

1) God Loves You
Because of God’s love for all people, he wants you to have a relationship with him.

Ephesians 2:4-5

2) You are a sinner.
No person is perfect and every person is a sinner.  Sin is choosing to go your own
way instead of doing what God wants you to do.

Romans 3:10

3) Sin separates you from God.
Sin is a barrier that prevents you from having a unbroken relationship with God,
who is holy.  You are headed to a terrible place for eternity that the bible calls
Hell, which is “a furnace of fire, with weeping and gnashing of teeth.  (Matt. 13:50)

Romans 2:23

4) You can’t save yourself.
You may hear that people often think that they can be saved and overcome the
sin barrier by doing good deeds.  This is not true.  There is nothing you can do
to restore the broken relationship with God.  You can’t earn Salvation.

Titus 3:5

5) To remove the sin barrier, God sent His son Jesus
Jesus Christ, God’s one and only son, died on the cross to save you from your sins
to remove the sin barrier.  He took your punishment upon Himself, enduring harsh
punishment so that you may be saved.

Romans 5:8

6) You can receive Jesus Christ.
Faith is trusting in what Jesus has done for you and believing in what you cannot
see.  Faith is completely relying on God to steer you in the right direction through
life.  Faith also involves repentance and turning away from your sin.

Romans 10:9-10

7) Through prayer you can accept Jesus Christ.
Admit to god you are a sinner.  Believe in him and what Jesus did for you.  Ask for
forgiveness for the sins you have committed.  Invite Jesus into your life as your
Lord and savior and allow Him to live through you.  Commit your life to Him.
